Week 9 CSA Wed 8/9, 1-6PM, OR Sat 8/12, 9AM-2PM

ON THE TABLE IN FARM SHOP… Cantaloupe (eat quick! Keep in fridge until ready to use), Watermelon (yellow/reds), Tomatoes, Onion, Garlic, Peppers, Leeks, Potatoes, Carrots, Beets, Eggplant, Cabbage, Zucchini and Cucumbers.

PICK YOUR OWN… Wet fields. We apologize for our appearance, heavy rains making it difficult to maintain this field. Bring your mucking boots.

  • Tomatoes - oranges, "chocolate" cherry, and reds.
  • Herbs and Beans – where ever you can get in – we do have more planted on higher ground; harvest in a few weeks. Thanks for your understanding.
  • Flowers – easier to pick, not so wet, plenty of zinnia and others.

  • Corn and Peaches – Pastore Orchards, Hammonton;
  • Chicken Sausages – freezer stocked up! Griggstown Farms;
  • Cheeses, Fulper Farms (Gouda, Feta, Mozzarella, Ricotta);
  • Eggs, Cycle Farms.
  • Produce – see Shop for details, AND tell friends/family to visit us at the Galloway Farmers Market (Sundays, 10AM-1PM, Aug-Oct).

HAMMERBACHER… Fresh Breads and Baked Goods

Farm Notes:

  • Preserve the harvest, extend the CSA season and value!  Carrots/Beets (in fridge drawer); Potatoes (in basket/pantry); Peppers/Onions (chop, freeze – stir fry mix); Eggplant (bread, bake/fry, freeze – eggplant parm in the winter months – a LaMonaca household must!). Tomatoes (fresh salsa, oven roast cherries, freeze sauces).
  • Containersplease reuse quarts/pints – we are running low.  Thanks!
